Hi my name is Liz, A week ago on Friday, Clay was driving home from work like he always does. It was supposed to be a normal end to a long week. But a drunk driver crossed into his lane and hit him head‑on, changing our lives in a single moment.

Clay has been in the hospital ever since, and the days have felt long and heavy. Some moments he’s alert, others he’s barely responsive, and every hour brings a new wave of worry. Watching someone you love fight through pain like this is something you can never prepare for, and I’m doing my best to stay strong for him.

We weren’t prepared for this — not the upcoming bills, not the time away from work, not the long recovery ahead. I'm a stay at home working mom of 3 kids I work part time online remote work as a data entry clerk and ive missed a lot of work because of this accident. So im afraid of up coming bills.
