About this fundraiser

Hello and thank you for considering a donation. We are trying to raise $10,500 to enroll our son, Coe, in intensive Physical therapy in Utah. He just turned 2 years old in September and has an advanced form of Cerebral Palsy. He is unable to crawl, walk, and speak except for three words. “Mom” “daddy” and “hi” He babbles but seems that he hasn't been able to speak any more than those three words (which aren't very clear but we know what he means). He is able to sit up unassisted for 7-10 minutes, and can roll around to get where he wants to go, which is usually whatever room mom or dad are in. He loves his mom, dad, and siblings and ALWAYS has a smile on his face and his laugh is contagious! We have him in physical therapy twice a week, speech therapy once a week, and Occupational therapy twice a week, and he sees a chiropractor twice a month. We are doing all we can but Coe has hit a plateau and his doctor highly recommended that we get him into an Intensive Physical Therapy program. This program offers everything he needs and more and he would be doing four hours of therapy every week day for three weeks. Unfortunately any Intensive Physical Therapy is not covered by insurance and every grant and scholarship we have applied for has been denied. In order to get him enrolled, get to Utah and stay for the three weeks so we can get him to his appointments, we need your help financially to make it happen for him. We are just parents that want to give our son, Coe, the best shot at being mobile, able to speak or give him a way to communicate, and give him the best quality of life possible. We are desperate to give him every opportunity we can to help him progress, become mobile, and provide him a way to communicate. Can you imagine what it would feel like to know in your mind what you wanted to say, ask, feelings you want to express, or needs you needed met but not be able to communicate any of it or how it may feel to see your brother's and sisters playing but physically unable to participate? Please help us help our son. Thank you for your time, consideration, and contribution. We are very very grateful!
