My nephew, Michael, was in a serious dirt bike accident on September 4th. He had to be transferred to Lurie Children's Hospital due to his excessive injuries. He suffered multiple fractures to his foot, hand, and spine. He also lacerated his liver, bruised his lungs, and broke his jaw in multiple places. After a long week in the hospital and having his jaw wired shut, he was allowed to go home. His parents Mike and Lexi have not left his side and have a long road of recovery ahead.
