Appeal for Help for a Family I love you who saved My Lfe 10 Years Ago A Request from Geoffrey A Atkins 

I am requesting funds for a sable mom and her 2 student children a family I love after Meeting them while I was in Africa . I became ill on a road and fell unconscious. Ms JanetSande was the only person who stopped and came to my aid hailing a ride and taking me to a clinic. She paid $1000 for me to remain for a few days after treatment and once released invited me to her home where her two children and she resided so I could recover fully. 
 

Over  the past ten years her children have become my adopted children because I got to know their struggles as Janet traveled out of the country to work so they could have a education and home to be safe in.

Janet traveled to the Middle East to earn a living like other Africans . Her income never matched her needs and expenses  and  these past few years  have been worse. She lost her job in the Middle East recently and has has acquired bank loans in the past but currently is struggling to make currently loan payments. She and her family were evicted in May of 2026 and are now homeless .  Earlier in April of 2026 she took out a loan for $2000 USD to try and clear her kids tuition and room and board.

Her daughter Precious is an Honors Law Student at Uganda Christian University and will complete her bachelors of Law degree in 2 years and be eligible to become an attorney. Her son Harmony has certificates and needs 3 years to complete his studies in in Data Analytics and is already an ICT skilled student. Her son Harmony delayed his studies due to financial difficulties but pursued his two ICT certifications on merit. 
precious stays at a hostel during school year because it is safe and since they have resided in Kampala it’s too far from the school. Harmony had remained in their former residence his school was close to home. All has now changed since Janet cannot pay tuition fees due to the loss of her job. 

Her bank loans in is $2000 at 3% interest. She needs her payments to the bank for June and 8 months left on loan and to rent a permanent home it’s $300 per month and upfront payment of  $1200 is required for permanent housing.  Tuition is $1000 per semester for Precious and $ 700 per semester for Harmony. The hostel is $410 per semester . Her children need $240 each per semester for meals  and transportation for Precious is $55 per semester and for  Harmony $ 220 per month. to and from school. The children’s other needs for scholastic materials, food  cost $600 in total. 
janet knows if she can open a uni-sex salon I Kampala she could remain home with her children the cost would be $25,000  ( for rent, salon equipment, and furniture). Janet was stylist and health advisor to emirs in the Middle East. In addition she has created a herb line that heals people from pain and skin diseases that could supplement her income with the legal government certificates required. 
I can attest to her healing ability from my own experience and my oldest childhood friend a former US Marshal retired now. 
 

I have supported the family as much as I could but now my son was injured on the job 6 months ago and recently had surgery  the end of May  and I am taking care of him and his twin daughters while he has 3 months to recover . I am also  helping my cousin save his sons life who needs a kidney transplant and I found a donor in Ghana that can save his life but requires my financial assistance to bring to New York and house him. one block from Montefiore Hospital.

Pay Bank Loan - $2402

Faily rent for 4 months required upfront -  $1200

Precious Tuition Total for remaining 4 semesters $ $4000 

Harmonys Tuition Total for remaining 6 semesters

Lunch Total for both $2440 

Transportation for both $1540 

All Other Basic Needs $4000 

TOTAL is $18, 742 

if the first can be met of  $18,742 and the salon is funded the total is $43,742
