À propos de cette collecte de fonds

I never thought I'd be facing something like this. A few years ago, I was living my life, making plans, thinking about the future. But then my lungs started failing me, and everything changed. The doctors told me I have end-stage lung disease, and without a double lung transplant, I won't survive.

Every day is a struggle now. Simple things like walking to the mailbox or climbing a flight of stairs leave me gasping for breath. I'm on oxygen constantly, and the limitations keep growing. My family watches me decline, and I watch them worry. But there's hope. There's a real chance at life through a transplant.  Actually, it's my only chance at life.

The problem is that transplants come with enormous costs. Even with insurance, there are expenses I can't cover on my own. There's the surgery itself, the medications I'll need for the rest of my life to prevent rejection, travel costs to the transplant center, and recovery care. These bills add up faster than I ever imagined, and I'm facing financial devastation on top of fighting for my life.

I'm reaching out because I need help. I'm not giving up on life, and I'm asking you not to let me face this alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to getting this transplant and getting my life back. Your support could literally be the difference between me being here for my family or not. Thank you for believing in my second chance.
