  • So, how many of you accepted my challenge? Thank you to those of you that did.
It's been a couple weeks since our last update and we've got a few things to add to our medical/personal journey.
Erica and I made the trip to and from Cleveland just over a week ago, following up with two of my amazing doctors and meeting a couple new ones.
The good news is that my recent Kidney scan showed no new tumors (But it's shown that before). We'll continue on the 3-month schedule of monitoring.
The bad news from this trip is the discovery of "Concerning Spots" on my eyes. Given my cancer history, I've been referred to see the Senior Ocular Oncologist on the 18th to evaluate for potential cancer. If this isn't enough fun, I've been put back on Chemo Pills until further notice.
I'm still scheduled to see the Neurosurgical Oncologist on the 4th to find out the course of action for my Brain Tumor. The pending results of the Molecular Residual Blood Test have a substantial bearing on the action needed taken.
While sitting in Church this morning with Erica, I was reminded how God is truly in control. He's led me down this path and will guide the doctors that are treating me.
With the continued support of all of you, our Church family and our new friends from Church, I know God will continue to provide the means for our repeated trips. If you're able to help, Proverbs 3:27 says: "Do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to act". If not, sharing our fundraiser link only takes 5 seconds and helps just as much.
Lastly, we Thank You from the bottom of our hearts and we ask you to continue to lift us in prayer.
    God Bless,
    Lee and Erica

À propos de cette collecte de fonds

Hello family and friends,

My wife and I are facing a tough challenge and we need your support. Battling Cancer three times, losing one complete kidney and part of the other to this nasty disease. Damage to my lungs brought on through my treatment and chemotherapy led to blood clots and Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism. The financial burden is overwhelming, and we fear for what lies ahead. It's especially hard since we both have faced cancer's impact personally. These struggles are not just physical but also emotional and financially demanding. Now, we need help to alleviate the pressure as we fight forward through this difficult time.

We now humbly ask that our friends, family, and the many others of you that know the impact that this disease can have to give from their hearts. You can make a difference by choosing to help through our Registry. Any contribution that you can make will help us offset our expenses incurred including co-pays, travel for treatment, medicines and other out-of-pocket costs. Your kindness can provide the comfort and security we need in this difficult time.

Thank You and God Bless
