I am Charles, and I am creating this fundraiser for my wife and me. We are both senior citizens, and after 32 years of marriage, we are doing everything we can to hold on through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. I have  been through multiple surgeries and ongoing health complications, including heart problems, broken ankles, diabetes, cataracts, blood clots, and severe back pain. I takes 12 pills a day, may need back surgery, struggles with balance, falls often, and sometimes has trouble speaking clearly. My wife also recently went through surgery  after doctors feared she may had cancer. Thankfully, it was not cancer, but the stress and recovery have added to everything we are already facing. 

Right now, we are in crisis. We have received eviction notices, our car was repossessed, and our savings are gone. Without our car, I cannot get to his bi-weekly medical appointments, which are critical for his care. The funds from this fundraiser will help us get our car back, keep us in our home, and give my wife the chance to return to nursing school so she can rebuild our lives. We are also trying to keep our two cats, who bring comfort and therapeutic support to my wife and me every day. Please help us stay together, keep our home, regain our transportation, and find a way forward.
