In December 2020, I developed a life-threatening complication, cellulitis, in both legs. After a visit to the Emergency Room, the doctor admitted me to Adventist Health Stockton – Dameron Hospital intensive care unit.
In June 2021, I developed a life-threatening complication, cellulitis, in my left leg. After a visit to the Emergency Room, the doctor admitted me to Dignity Health Stockton – St. Joseph’s Hospital.
After discharge, the staff at Pacific Wound Care began to treat my diabetic foot ulcer on the heel of my left foot. In July 2022, the doctor started negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) using 3M + KCI ACTIVAC North America, Canisters, and Dressings. Negative pressure wound therapy continued through April 2023.
