My name is Madison, and I am starting this fundraiser because I live every day with POTS. My blood pressure can suddenly drop, my heart rate can skyrocket, and I deal with dizziness, lightheadedness, seeing dots, buzzing in my ears, and sometimes even passing out. These symptoms make daily life unpredictable and frightening, and they have also left me unable to work right now. It is incredibly hard to ask for help, but I am doing this because I truly need support to make something life-changing possible for me.

I am raising funds for a service dog, the dog’s training, and the gear needed for the dog to safely work by my side. A service dog would be trained to alert me to symptoms before I even realize they are happening, help keep me safe during episodes, bring me my medicine, and assist me with tasks I cannot manage on my own. I already have a dog lined up, but because of my health and being unable to work, I do not have the extra funds to purchase the dog, travel to pick the dog up, or get the gear that will identify the dog as a service dog and help me with stability. If you are able to donate or even just share my fundraiser, it would mean so much to me. Your support could help me gain more safety, independence, and peace of mind as I continue living with POTS.
