Help Us Save Our Sweet Snowflake
We never imagined we would be here, asking for help to save a member of our family.
Our beautiful pug, Snowflake, is only 1 year and 8 months old, but in the span of just a few hours, our entire world was turned upside down. She suddenly began suffering from cluster seizures and had to be rushed to the emergency veterinarian, where she stopped breathing and had to be intubated. By the grace of God, she was able to breathe on her own again, but she remains in critical condition as the veterinary team works around the clock to find the cause of her seizures and give her every possible chance to recover.
Snowflake isn’t “just a dog.” She is family.
She has been there through some of the hardest moments of our lives. She has been a constant source of comfort, love, and companionship. Whether she was curled up on the couch, following us from room to room, making us laugh with her silly personality, or greeting us with a wagging tail after a difficult day, Snowflake has filled our home with unconditional love.
When we visited her at the hospital, despite everything she had been through, she recognized us. She wagged her little tail, licked our hands, and tried with everything she had to climb into our arms. That moment reminded us how much she loves us and how desperately we want the chance to bring her home.
The veterinary team is continuing to fight for her. She is receiving medications, close monitoring, and every treatment they believe may help. We are holding on to hope with every update we receive.
Unfortunately, emergency veterinary care is incredibly expensive, and the costs continue to grow with every hour she remains hospitalized. We never wanted to be in a position where we had to ask for help, but we are doing everything we can to give Snowflake the opportunity to recover.
If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, it will go directly toward Snowflake’s emergency hospitalization, medications, diagnostics, and ongoing treatment. If you are unable to donate, simply sharing our story with others would mean more than we can express.
Most importantly, we ask for your prayers, positive thoughts, and hope for our little girl. We know she is still fighting, and we are going to keep fighting right alongside her.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for taking the time to read Snowflake’s story. Thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and for standing beside our family during one of the most difficult moments we have ever faced.
With gratitude,
Evan, Mallory, and our family
