On May 11, 2026, I underwent spine surgery and am now facing a long recovery that has left me unable to work for at least 3 months. Because I work part-time, I do not qualify for short-term disability benefits, which means I currently have no income while trying to recover and keep up with rent, utilities, medical expenses, medications, transportation, and everyday bills.

This has been one of the most difficult experiences of my life physically, emotionally, and financially. I’m asking for help so I can focus on healing without the constant fear of falling behind financially during recovery.
