Help Me Make Room for Healing
A Personal Request for Support, Stability, and Recovery
To my family, friends, and everyone who has been part of my journey,
It is not easy for me to write these words, but I am learning that sometimes healing begins with being honest about where we are and allowing others to walk alongside us.
This week, I experienced my first suicide attempt. Sharing that is incredibly vulnerable, but I want to be honest about the seriousness of what I am facing. I have reached a point where I need to prioritize my mental health and pursue residential treatment so I can receive the care, support, and space I need to begin healing.
At the same time, life has presented some difficult financial circumstances. I lost my job on Monday, and with it, my health insurance. My rent is due next month, and my car payment is now two months behind.
My greatest concern is being able to get the treatment I need without losing my home or my transportation in the process. I want to give myself the opportunity to focus on getting well, knowing that I have a safe place to return to and a way to begin rebuilding my life.
For that reason, I am creating this fundraiser to help cover my immediate living expenses and prevent further financial hardship while I navigate treatment and recovery.
If you are able to contribute financially, please know that every gift, regardless of size, will make a difference. If giving is not possible right now, sharing this request, offering encouragement, praying for me, or simply reminding me that I am not alone is just as meaningful.
Asking for help is not easy for me. But I recognize that I cannot navigate this season alone, and I am choosing to give myself the opportunity to get the help I need. I believe my life is worth fighting for, and I want the chance to move forward with the support and care necessary to do that.
Thank you for loving me, standing with me, and helping me create the stability I need to focus on healing. Whether you contribute, share this request, pray, or offer a kind word, please know that I am deeply grateful.
With love and gratitude,
Qiana
