About this fundraiser

Hi Everyone!

We are Brittney and Logan Adams, we are hoping to raise enough money to afford IVF after 7 ½ years of trying.

Over the last 7 years we tried for 1 ½ years on our own naturally and tracking and to no avail it was all unsuccessful. The last 6 years of living in idaho we have had many doctors appointments to many to count on both of our hands, blood draws, a surgery, specialist…years of failed medicated (clomid and letrozole) and tracking cycles 3 failed IUIs with letrozole and tracking, 1 failed IUI with IUI with trigger shot and letrozole.. all 4 of those IUIs resulted in no pregnancies. Logan had a surgery in February 2020 for a varicocele and shortly after his labs started looking fantastic.

In July 2022 we were referred to a specialist out of town and after talking we decided we wanted to try and do adoption. We went through the foster classes, back ground checks, finger prints etc and we were all cleared! We got a call from a case worker that they had a little boy we were interested in that was 8 years old living in a group home with older boys. We started doing a couple visits during the day for a few hours, moved to weekend visits from Frday night to Sunday Night. Everything seemed to be going great… until it wasn't. March of 2023 our nephews 5th birthday party of all days… the little boy didn't like being told no after asking our nephew if he could have one of his birthday presents he started throwing toys, jumping over the furniture, flipping us off, hitting, screaming, biting. We headed out to the car to take him back to the group home. Logan had placed him in the back middle seat, he than ran inside to grab our shoes, jackets etc. In the meantime I (Brittney) stayed in the vehicle and was trying to get ahold of the little boys behavioral therapist.. he started trying to grab my phone, hitting my arms, smacked my face so hard he knocked my glasses into the driver seat ( I was sitting front passenger) I gently grabbed both of of his wrists and put them together on his knees; he leaned over and BITE ME on the arm multiple times and thens started hitting my arms again. At this point logan had came out and saw what was going on. We headed over to the group home and had a meeting with his behavioral therapist and a bunch of other people. Talked about what happened how it made everyone feel. We decided to take a week off of visits to let him calm down and get more therapy etc. After that week did another weekend visit and he again was told no (he wanted another yoyo after we had just bought him one a few weeks ago)  he started throwing things again, throwing a fit, hitting, kicking, telling us he hated us, didn't care about us anything you could imagine this kid was saying to us. We took a couple more weeks off from visits and had a chance to talk to each other and decided that moving forward with this was no longer an option as I didn't feel comfortable around thai child anymore.

All while this was happening Brittney had stopped all her medications, trying to regulate her body back to normal. From July 2022 to April 2024 Brittney was bleeding heavily for 5 weeks, stopped bleeding for 2 weeks and continued heavy bleeding for 5 weeks this continued for 9 months. Brittney had gone to the doctors and ER  mmultiple times just to be told it was normal and showing from her blood work her body was keeping up with the bleeding so she didn't need to worry. A couple months after we stopped the adoption visits we had made the decision to go visits that specialist. That is when we did our 4th and final IUI, Brittney was also FINALLY diagnosed with PCOS. Unfortunately that 4th IUI did not end in a pregnancy just like the 3 previous ones hadn't. We were told our only option to have our own biological children at this point was IVF.

We moved clinics to a one out of state (seems like a better fit for us) and they quoted us $15,500.00 for a FULL IVF cycle, medications and everything compared to the $30,000.00+ we were quoted by a clinic closer to us and that price didn't included medications.

Logan and Brittney have always dreamed of bringing children into their family since they got married.

Even a dollar or a share helps us reach this goal.

Thank you so much for supporting us! 🩷💗❤️
