Hello my name is Lori, and I am raising money for my daughter Holly. 

In August 2024, her bathroom cabinet fell on the back of her head. She didn't realize until days later she had developed a concussion. While she was supposed to be resting as the doctors told her to, her sons became injured physically and multiple sicknesses struck the home. She continued to ignore the concussion taking care of her family's needs -until it was too late. 

Pretty soon, memory loss was increasing, and her cognitive abilities were decreasing. She began to make improvements, and then she hit her head again on her staircase doorway.

That's where we need help.

Holly is nowhere close to healing, her memory loss greatly increased, she can no longer homeschool her kids as she loved to do. She can't plan meals, drive, her speaking has declined as well. It affected her vision too. 

Concussion therapy did not help like we thought it would.It is really hard for her family to see her like this, and it's taken a toll on us as her parents, because we are taking care of her, her household, and making sure her boys' needs can be met- while her spouse is working.

We did research and found a hyperbaric oxygen chamber can help improve her brain function plus the other therapies this doctor offers. 

Unfortunately, insurance will not cover it. We all feel this is what Holly needs at this very time so she can go back to her normal.  She will be gone four times a week an hour away from home.  Once she has the four days of therapy - she will be healed from most of her injuries - the doctor hopes. 

This fundraiser is to cover expenses for the brain therapy she will get, the gas, and her husband's work time, as he has been taking unpaid work days off to help.

UPDATE: Her cerebellum is completely shot from her accidents.  Her left brain can no longer work like it should and cannot communicate with her right side.  The doctor believes and hopes those four days of therapy will help heal her brain completely. 

She starts therapy the first week of December.

11/15/24 - Recently, broke her right finger having a “freeze” moment while getting fingers slammed in door.  Had surgery next day. Put pin in it.
