Alex is a 32 year old Single Mother that has endured far too much in the past year. ❤️‍🩹

We used to work together at the hospital side by side and became fast friends . 🤞✨

But life had other plans for her to say the least….😮‍💨

She has already endured in her short time here on earth so far * , a history of trauma and abuse which she has proudly overcome and grown to become a strong and compassionate CNA 👩🏼‍⚕️💪🏻a true advocate for DV survivors . 💜

She has also been faced with mutiple levels of spinal abnormalities, disc herniations, protrusions, encroachments , narrowing etc.. and in November of 2026 had some epidural injections AND one surgery that has since proven unsuccessful l. 🥺

At less than 35 years of age, she has faced almost constant excruciating pain, exacerbated by movement of most kinds , spinal surgery, mutiple physical and surgical appts

She now has been made aware of other multilevel degeneration and herniating within her prior surgical area and nerve impingement within her neck requiring another surgical spinal repair ❤️‍🩹

To top it all off- her Surgeon from her prior surgery (Dr Kraus) is Retiring 😓😮‍💨 - finding another trustworthy and capable spine surgeon in the area is still proving to be difficult.

As a busy nurse and mother of three myself,- my heart breaks for her💔😭 to see her missing out on life and struggling financially to boot -just tears me up . 🥺😔

Her back gives out often and she is unable to move without pain. 🩼Her spinal injuries and decreased ability to move, lift , push/ pull etc have left her with little employment opportunities as a CNA .

Typically if you see her out and about she is hobbling around trying to Uber around town to make ends meet.

This puts a serious strain on her income and her family’s wellbeing as she is no longer able to work , and has not yet been approved for disability.

She is FAR too Proud to put something like this out there , but after everything I’ve been through in life, I know more than most, .. that sometimes we just need a helping hand. 🫴❤️

I have set a large (but I feel attainable) goal of $10,000 to try to help Alex with offsetting the cost of living and continuing to be unable to work after second Spinal surgery that she will be undergoing , medications, and equipment that will be necessary for her care post operatively as well as helping to cover the cost of living and care for her sweet Son Aiden .
