Greetings To Everyone,

My name is Lisa. I would like to start out by thanking everyone for taking the time to read my story. I want to thank my Heavenly Father for answered prayer and allowing me to escape a very dangerous and scary marriage to a narcissistic man. In June 2023, I thought I had met a very wonderful man who had a walk with Christ and presented himself as the “ideal life partner”. I fell head over heels in love with him, we attended church together, prayed together, studied the Word of God together, things seemed to be very cohesive. We had married 6 months later. Within 5 months of our marriage, his anger appeared very subtle at first. One day on the way to work, an argument occurred in the vehicle that quickly escalated in my husband being arrest for domestic violence and assault. He returned home promising that he would change and go to counseling and fight for our marriage, but that didn't last very long. In a matter of 5 months, he was arrested again on domestic violence and assault for the second time. Just recently another incident occurred and now I am ready for change in my life. Reality has come and if I don't leave, I could die. I believe that God has a better plan for my life, and this isn't the one He has in mind for me. I have cried, prayed and cried some more. I won't lay down and play victim because I am victorious through Christ and even through this trial, I will stand strong on my resolve. The statistics show that a woman dies every 10 minutes, that is scary. I don't want to die. I want to live, heal, and build a better life for myself. 

In spite of all of this, I am needing to start over. I humbly ask for assistance so I can have a new beginning after losing everything I worked to accomplish over the last 3 years. If you find it in your heart to assist me, I would greatly appreciate it. I know that this isn't the end of my story, I know that the best is yet to come. Living in a safe environment is key to my life, healing and restoration.
