Hello, I am Arihanna and I am 14. This semester and next, I have chorus, which is a class I’ve always wanted to be in after I took it once in 6th grade. But of course, they wouldn’t let me have the class again until now and I'm currently in 9th grade.

Recently, our teacher has told us about cool trips that choir kids have taken in the past school years. Whenever I hear about them, I feel bummed that I couldn’t go on any of them, all because my school didn’t let me join chorus for 4 years. My teacher told us there will be this amazing trip out of state after the last day of school. Of course, I was really excited and I started talking about it every day, even though I didn’t know if I could really go. I started talking to myself about it at least every single day.

I eventually convinced my dad to let me go and he told me to do fundraising to help and my teacher told us to do donations. This is the only thing I could think of besides my family. I would really love to go out of state because it’s something I’ve never once done in my entire lifeand whenever I tell other kids that, they look at me shocked. My goal is to get $240 from at least 7 people and I put it this way to make it sound easier for myself.
