I hate that it has come to this, but I am using every possible resource. I was promised rental assistance back in July of 2025 through an organization partnered with a lender. It was then delayed until November. During the first week of November, I received an email followed by a phone call stating that the funds were not available and that I no longer qualified. I reached out to the lender directly and spoke with the financial manager and said I did qualify, but there was no information sent to them by the organization.

Essenstially I was lied to and gaslit for several months while being ignored and followed up with. I am restarting my life from scratch after several years of struggle and misfortune. I almost lost my life in my previous city. I am blessed to live in a safe environment where I currently reside. However, it has been difficult to land steady employment for the past few months. Now, because of this situation, I may have to be evicted. 

I need is to pay off this past due balance in order to stay in my home while I continue to actively look for stable work. I am still new to Texas and do not have any family or support.
