Hello all, we are organizing this fundraiser to help Barbara pay for Medical expenses. As many of you know Barbara fell ill in February of this year. Run of the mill common cold symptoms, however medical doctor visits and endless antibiotics symptoms were not resolving.

In early May of this year her doctor continued treating and ordered a CT which identified a mass on her lung. After biopsies and further testing Barbara was diagnosed with Stage 3 squameous cell carcinoma, Non Small Lung Cancer.

As a Widowed mother Barbara raised 3 boys on her own so it’s of no surprise she is a fighter, and fighting Cancer is what she will do!

Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy treats have already begun at the John Theur Cancer Center in Hackensack, NJ. Would would have thought in 2024, with Medicare and a supplemental insurance that treatment still could be so costly.

This fundraiser is designed to help ease the burden for Barbara as right now co-pays and treatments after insurance are costing Barbara about $500 per week and adding to her anxiety. While under going treatments Barbara is not working and is just receiving her social security. Any help you can give would help easy a bit of her burden and would be greatly appreciated.
