On July 26th of last year my husband, brother, and i had stopped to help an over turned vehicle late at night with no other traffic on the road but us in the middle of a divided grass highway with 2 men trapped inside their truck.  While I was speaking to 911 and my husband was making his way to me to speak to the 911 operator while keeping both gentleman calm and reassuring them that help was coming and we were not going to leave them alone, out of no where a care going 70+ mph drove down into the grass median and hit my husband straight on crushing him into over turned truck pinning him between the 2 vehicles and instantly killing the driver.  
  My husband spent months in ICU and we lost him so many times that every phone call I would receive would surely be the worst news.  He had undergone 8 surgeries in a matter of 5 days and too many blood transfusions to count.  
  He is home now but is disabled and I am his full time care giver.  We need help badly and have no where to turn.  Every day is more challenging than the next.  We have nothing left.  Being able to get the help we need can keep a roof over our heads and help my husband get the other surgeries he desperately needs.  And we can focus on gaining our life back.  Thank you all so much!
