As many of you may be unaware, Rick Crawford has been bravely battling numerous health challenges over the past 2-3 years. Despite his physical limitations, he has continued to work tirelessly, but unfortunately, he hasn't been able to work at all for the last 6-8 months. For the better part of the last 6 months, he has been hospitalized, and I have created this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burdens he is facing, allowing him to focus on his healing journey. Your prayers and well wishes are also crucial in this season, as Rick is a devout man of faith who recognizes the transformative power of prayer. Although osteomyelitis is a chronic condition that may never fully heal without divine intervention, Rick's unwavering faith and resilience are an inspiration to us all. As he navigates this challenging time, he is grateful for your support and encouragement. Rick is currently undergoing treatment at Landmark Hospital in Columbia, MO, where he will remain until at least February 5th, receiving 6 weeks of IV antibiotic treatment and physical therapy to aid in his recovery. Despite the setbacks he has faced, including the amputation of his left leg below the knee, the loss of his middle finger on his right hand, and the loss of his little toe on his right foot, Rick remains steadfast in his faith and determined to overcome this season of trial. He is also bravely fighting kidney disease and diabetes, and your support means the world to him. Rick is fortunate to have medical insurance, but one of his primary concerns is ensuring that his final expenses are covered, as he does not have life insurance. As someone who has selflessly given to others throughout his life, Rick's desire is to not leave a burden on those he loves.
