n 2020, during the uncertainty of the pandemic, I contracted COVID-19, RSV, pneumonia, and developed heart problems. I spent six isolating days in the hospital, battling severe respiratory distress and a mass in my lung. Although I survived, I now suffer from chronic breathing issues that prevent me from working, leaving me financially dependent on a single monthly check. Before COVID, I cherished my work caring for pediatric patients, but my health struggles, coupled with personal challenges like my husband’s betrayal and abuse, have turned my world upside down. Despite everything, I’m determined to rebuild my life and share my story to seek the support I need.
