About this fundraiser

On October 10th I was working on ladder 10 feet off the ground, the ladder shifted and down I went. I broke my right leg and left hand. My leg was twisted and my hand was shredded, were I landed on the ground was right on top of a fire ant mound. Unable to move I yelled for help and my best friend Brandy came running to me and stood on top of the fire ant mound keeping the fire ants out of my wounds and eyes until the first responders got there.  I was in severe pain and couldn't move, the first responders were absolutely incredible getting me on the ambulance to get me to the helicopter.  I was life flighted to Vanderbilt where I underwent 2 surgeries.  I stayed in the hospital for a week and when I finally got to go home to my surprise my roommate Ivy was not paying the rent. The eviction notice was taped to the door.  With the little money I had saved had to be used to rent me room at my friend's house. I will be out of work for at least a year while the femur bone heals, I am out of money and no one I can count on. It be a blessing if you could please lend a hand. I have always worked for everything and at 57 years old, I don't know what to do.

Thank you so much,
