About this fundraiser

I have been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and needing a bone marrow transplant as soon as possible. The registry could only find me a match with Cord Blood and I will have to travel outside of my state for the transplant. I am raising funds for my travel and for the expenses of the transplant and lodging. This would mean the world to me and I will forever be grateful for the help and gratitude of the community. I was hospitalized October 28th, 2022 and was officially diagnosed November 1st, 2022. I have been through 8 rounds of chemotherapy and have been hospitalized multiple times. I went into Septic Shock, had E. Coli, liver abscesses, fluid around my heart, lungs and kidneys, spiked a fever of 107, spent time in ICU and went unresponsive twice. This has been a traumatic experience and very scary and I am trying my best to overcome this horrible disease. I have two different gene mutations (KMT2A and GATA2) which makes this very aggressive form of Leukemia even more aggressive and the only cure is a transplant. Any help, even if it's a share will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
