Khaled is a 3-year-old Syrian refugee living in Jordan. Khaled has leukemia, and his family cannot afford his treatment. 

I heard about his story through NPR (article here). His father recently drowned at sea trying to get to Europe to help his son. Khaled’s mother, who has three other children, travels through the night to get him to his treatments. 

He is currently receiving treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Jordan. I spoke with staff at the Center, and they said his care is supported through donations. He needs an estimated $103,000 for the remainder of his treatment. Any help we can give will be much appreciated.
