Hi, I'm Ambre. A single mom to an amazing 17 year old son. I was diagnosed with Sinus Node Dysfunction, which means my heart's natural pacemaker doesn't work, and my heart can't adequately pump blood. This means my heart rate is low, which can become dangerous and further damage my heart. I have debilitating fatigue, palpitations and a low heart rate at all times. 

To fix this, I need a pacemaker. However, due to damage from a previous heart surgery, I require a type of pacemaker called an Epicardial Pacemaker. This typeof pacemaker goes outside of the heart, instead of inside like regular pacemakers. This is a very specialized surgery and only a handful of teams do it regularly. This surgery is critical to ease the strain on my heart, and give me a life back.
