I live in Charlestown,NH. and my transplant will be in Boston. After my monthly bills and the cost of living in general I have very little left for the costs of driving to and from dialysis 3 days a week and trips to Boston for tests and meetings with my transplant team. My sole income is social security and it just isn’t enough to cover the expenses. Add to that I have numerous appointments at Dartmouth Hitchcock and with my PCP. Post transplant I’m going to need to stay relatively close to the hospital for checkups several times a week. Eventually Dartmouth will take over. Staying in Boston isn’t cheap though I will get a discount at a few hotels that are affiliated with the hospital. But even that is far from free. Anything that you can spare will be greatly appreciated and I thank you from the bottom of my heart in advance ❤️
