I went in for a routine checkup to get my diabetes A1C numbers and found out that I had stage 4 cancer after my PSA levels were extremly high. I had a biopsy performed on me which led to stage 4 cancer in the prostate area which, I had to have removed through emergency surgery that completely depleted my bank account until my cancer insurance and other insurance that I had purchased through my state job went into effect but, after being denied for missing 2 days prior to the date that I was diagnosed and the date my benefit kicked in so now, I have to fight the insurance companies.
