Emmett was diagnosed with Tricuspid Atresia at 2 months old. He has had 2 open heart surgeries and up until about a month ago we thought all was going well and on track for what would be the final step the Fontaine to correct his heart defect. He sees a cardiologist monthly for test on his levels, his last test through the family for a loop. He had high tropin and BNP was unreal. They immediately sent him to MUSC where they have ultimately been told Emmett would now stay until he can have a heart transplant.Their estimate on the time frame is a minimum of 6-9 months. Emmett also has 2 brothers and it’s hard for all of them to be separated so they are temporarily going to have to relocate from Anderson county to Charleston. It is a difficult time for precious Emmett and his family. Trying to raise some funds to take some of the stress off of the family at least financially. The funds would be used to help with expenses of temporary relocation into an apartment or house, gas for travel ,food for the family etc…. Anything you can do helps.
