Supporting the Hageman Family on Mark’s Cancer Journey
Mark is a 20+ year educator, die hard Green Bay Packer fan/owner, and US Coast Guard veteran. As many of you know, the Hageman family is facing an incredibly difficult season as Mark courageously battles soft tissue sarcoma cancer. All of Mark’s treatments and surgery are taking place in Dallas, which means the family is traveling frequently and spending extended time away from home. These treatments will continue deep into 2026. As you can imagine, the costs—from travel and lodging to meals, medical expenses, and time away from work—add up quickly.
This fundraiser has been created to help ease the financial burden so the Hagemans can focus fully on what matters most: Mark’s healing and being together as a family. Every contribution—no matter the amount—goes directly toward supporting the family with travel costs, lodging, meals, and other unforeseen expenses along the way.
Your prayers, encouragement, and generosity mean more than words can express. Thank you for standing beside Mark and his family as they walk this journey with faith, courage, and hope.
Edit:Three (actually 4, needed a skin transplant as the graft did not hold) surgeries done, 28 rounds of radiation done, first round of chemo done, awaiting next round of chemo (begins March 10th), and hopefully no more surgeries. Unfortunately all personal days at work have been used which means there is no income coming from work at this time. Love and hugs to all!
Update:04/07/2026 Round one of big chemo completed last Friday. It was horrible but I survived. Put me on a pump that gives Doxy for 72 hours and Ifex for 96 hours. Hopefully the week of June 1st will be the 4th and final week and I can ring the bell. Please continue to pray for me to be able to get sleep and to be able to eat! Love y'all!
