I was ran over by a golfcart. I was taken to the Trauma hospital by ambulance. I was in ICU for 6 days. I had a fractured skull with bleeding on the brain. I also have brainstem damage causing me to have breathing issues. I also have a broken Tiblua and Fibula and need surgery ASAP. I'm not able to get around very good due to my breathing and a cast on my leg, ankle and foot. I'm a 52 year old raising my grandbabies 4 & 6 years old. I have full custody of them. This happened on September 29 th 2023. I have lost our home and vehicle. We are living in a hotel right now and having to beg for a ride or use Uber to get to my doctor appts and to theirs . Im self employed but I haven't been able to work since I was hurt. I'm so afraid we are gonna end up on the street or I will lose my babies due to this. I have thur tomorrow paid on our hotel. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day I haven't been able to get paid yet. I haven't been able to get them a single present for Christmas. I would love to have a Christmas dinner for us. We are in need of everything right now. I don't have insurance at the moment hoping to have it back within the next week or two. I have signed up for SSI & SSID but that is gonna take a while. We don't have any family here to help us and they can't help financially they are struggling to. You just don't know how much we need and would appreciate any assistance in our time of need.
