My dad, Cal, has always been the kind of person who would give a stranger the shoes off his feet if they needed them. He’s incredibly generous, caring, and supportive of everything his kids and grandkids do. As an amazing grandpa, dad, and husband, he’s touched so many lives with his kindness.
Right now, Cal is facing a major health challenge: he has liver cancer and needs a liver transplant. The transplant team at Presbyterian St. Luke’s in Denver has given us a list of requirements to complete before he can be put on the transplant list. One of the biggest hurdles is securing a place for my parents to stay in Denver for six weeks after the surgery. The hospital recommends renting a place nearby, which is a significant expense—an amount that’s simply out of reach for us on our own.
We are desperately seeking help to make this possible. Your support will help cover the cost of lodging so Cal can recover safely and meet the hospital’s requirements. Cal has always given so much to others, and now we’re hoping for kindness in return. Any and all help is deeply appreciated as we work to give my dad the best chance at recovery.
