Here is a new update from Jenni today, March 20, 2023

Our family is very happy to be back together in Orange County. We feel extremely blessed with the care Todd received in Calgary.
Todd still has a long recovery ahead of him. We’re hoping with continued dialysis he will regain his kidney function. We are focused on taking his recovery day by day. This week we’ll cheer on Alexa and Brandon competing at the World Championships in Japan.
Thank you for your continued support and prayers.
Love,
Jenni, Todd, Jack and Matthew

Our family is absolutely blown away by the love and support from all over the World. Todd continues to be treated in the Cardiac ICU in Calgary, Alberta where he is surrounded by an amazing group of doctors and nurses. We are here with him every step of the way.

In true Todd form he’s shown the true meaning of fight and determination over the past 10 days. I keep reminding him to fight…”one thing at a time”. We’ve listened to hours and hours of Tom Petty…I think I might even be a fan now.

Yesterday was a very big day as they were able to remove the ventilator.  We still have a long journey ahead of us. Our hope is to get him strong enough to move back to the U.S to continue his hospital care. We know he will need extensive rehab as well. He’s a fighter and we are all here cheering him on.

Please continue to pray for his continued improvements.

Much love,
Jenni, Jack and Matthew

Todd Sand is a three time Olympian and father of two with his beloved wife, Jenni Meno.  Todd suffered a devastating heart attack in Calgary, Canada while coaching his skating team during the Junior World Championships. Complications from the tragic heart attack occurred on March 2, 2023, which has resulted in Todd currently fighting for his life in the ICU in Canada.

This fundraising page has been created for Todd and his family to help support them with the enormous expenses associated with his medical care and recovery.

If you have ever met Todd, you know that he is a very special person that this world is in desperate need of keeping. His light always shines positivity and love. We want to do everything we can to help Todd's family in his fight for life.
