About this fundraiser

In Nov 2025, for my 43rd birthday, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. After several tests, biopsies, and scans, it was finally confirmed as Stage IV Triple Negative Breast Cancer that had metastasized into my lungs.
I'm currently undergoing a regimen of Keytruda and chemo to help shrink the tumors and hopefully eradicate them and prevent further spread. There are days I just cannot get up to even try to be a human. I've never been so exhausted in my life.
Metastatic TNBC is not studied enough. TNBC is rarer, accounting for only 10-20% of total Breast Cancer diagnoses. It's fast growing and aggressive. It likes to spread and quickly. It is not hormone responsive, so a lot of standard therapies that target hormones to help stabilize the cancer, are ineffective. It requires specialized treatments that are also dependent on certain other factors in your genetics and the tumor makeup.
I will forever be in some state of immunotherapy or chemo for the rest of my life, as well as full body scans every 3-6 months. There is no "beating it", just hopefully putting it in time out for a while. All of this is very expensive, even with insurance, which is expensive each month on its own. Will has been working every day to keep our basic bills and mortgage paid, plus groceries.
I've been unable to work on my business since November. The physical fatigue and mental exhaustion makes it very hard to get anything done. Because of this, I've had no supplemental income for 6 months.
