Almost two months ago, my dad fell in his apartment and underwent surgery to drain a hematoma and remove necrotic skin on his left thigh. He spent nearly three weeks in the hospital before being transitioned to rehab. He has been in rehab for two weeks and his insurance will stop covering his copays this week. 

He is still unable to bear weight on his leg and relies heavily on a wheelchair for mobility. His apartment has become inaccessible to him due to stairs and no wheelchair access. 

We have applied for long term care through Medicaid, but he will need to stay in rehab until it is approved. The copays for rehab are over $200 per day, so we are asking for support to offset the hardship to ensure he remains safe to continue recovering. Anything helps!
