About this fundraiser

My mom and I will be the ones benefiting from the ramp and deck.

My name is Denneen I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2000, recently after being cheated by the builder who built my deck went the cheaper route even tho he had more than enough money to get the pressure treated wood he decided to get pine and pocket the rest. My daughter and her 35 pounds service dog went through the deck after she had surgery on her Achilles tendon to lengthen it due to her falling through she tore it. My son in law also went through the deck later on that same night.

My ramp is scary due to it being so  shakey when I go up and down the ramp with my wheelchair  the railings are falling off I use my arms to help my husband by holding on to the railings but its very difficult when the railings fell off to them rotting and not being built securely, I just need to feel safe going in and out of my home for my doctor appointments.   My daughter also lives with me who also uses a wheelchair like i do due to her having deteriorating disc disease in her back and her being born with scoliosis and along with arthritis on her spine. My daughter is due to being a ambulatory wheelchair user due to her having diabetes and having to lose all her toes on her right foot due to diabetic ulcers.  We have tried all the agencies who would normally help disabled people but we were told not until next year how are me and my daughter suppose to get out of our home if their is a emergency reality is we wouldn't be able to because we are so scared of our ramp and deck. Please find it in your hearts to help us if u can we will even give companies receipts so they can do tax right offs on it.                                                                    Sincerely,                                                                                              Dee and Chantelle
