6/15/23 UPDATES: Since the last post, I have been fortunate enough to meet with a naturopathic doctor. he and I had an hour long conversation about my health overall, my kidney stone issues and a few other issues he identified while reviewing my lab work for the last 5 months. He explained EVERYTHING the tests revealed. We talked about how my autoimmune disease could be causing pain, fatigue and loss of motion. We talked about different options for managing my inflamation and we really got down to where the high blood calcium could be coming from. For the first time, I’m having some hormone levels checked. We also took a hard look at my red blood cell count, hemoglobin and hematocrit. After exploring several avenues, we decided to run some additional bloom work (which I did today) and to put me on some magnesium to help balance out the calcium. I’m also going to be getting a bone scan to make sure the extra calcium is not being leached out from my bones.
All in all, I feel like I have a partner for this journey and I feel hopeful for the first time in a while.
thank you for your support, I love you all so much!

Hi, I’m Amy. I’ve lived with a physical disability since 2009. I lost my career over it, but I’ve been managing to get by doing work for a much reduced pay rate, until recently.
Starting in the summer of 2020, I have had 3 surgeries to remove very large kidney stones. in January of 2023, my primary care doctor told me I had stage 3 kidney disease and I needed to get to the bottom of what is happening in my body.
Its been months and still, no answers. Just 2 weeks ago, I was admitted to the hospital with a large stone that cause an infection. I had emergency surgery and IV antibiotics for days and was finally discharged.
The one thing I still don’t have are answers. I’m so desperate that I’m flying to CA to meet with a specialist to see if he can help me.
All of this has meant that I have had to drastically reduce my hours and I am making about 40% of what I made last year. My savings are gone and I’m still on the road to getting a diagnosis. If you can help me with this burden, I would be honored to paint a small portrait of a loved one or pet as a way of thanking you for you kindness. It just may take me a while to get the piece done, but you will have it by the end of the year.
If you are unable to help, I’d appreciate any good vibes or eerie mind powers as well.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story.
