Ella was diagnosed with Mammary Neoplasia back in September of 2023. Since then, she has had 3 surgeries resulting in the removal of multiple teats and a great amount of tissue from her abdomen along with the cancer masses. However, due to my primary vet not having the necessary equipment to provide radiation or chemotherapy, it has continued to come back each time in the middle of her 2 week recovery time after each surgery. My veterinarian referred me to Missouri University in Columbia, Mo after more masses appeared on two of her remaining mammary glands as well as a few new "micro" masses along her ribs on both sides. During Ella's consultation with MU, after taking measurements of each mass, they informed me that a Complete Mass Removal Surgery with Radiation immediately following would be our best option towards a successful positive outcome for Ella, but that it needs to happen BEFORE she reaches Stage 4. They estimated she's somewhere between Stage 2 and Stage 3. They provided me with the Cost Estimate of the required Lab Tests/Imaging, Mass Removal Surgery, and the Radiation Therapy all of which can be found in the photos above. After already spending between $5,000-$7,000 just since September in just 5 vet visits and still having to care for my other animals and their vet care on top of it has put me far beyond financial strain. I tried getting Pet Insurance to help ease the cost of Ella's Cancer treatments/procedures, but sadly after calling every single Pet Insurance Company I could find on Google, none of them would cover Ella for her cancer because it is considered a Pre-Existing Condition. I also tried applying more CareCredit and a couple others but my applications weren't approved due to not having the required credit range because of always paying out-of-pocket for everything. This fundraiser is now my only other option to get the funds together so my babygirl can have one last chance to win her fight against Cancer.
*** Updates on Ella's health will be posted after each Vet Visit from here on out! ***

People have constantly told me I'd be an idiot for even trying to raise the funds to get her surgery and radiation treatments. People often remind me that I could buy a new car or a house for that amount of money. To most people, they just see a dog and think nothing more then that. But for me, she's so much more then that... $25,000 is a lot of money, yes, but I'd rather spend it on her surgery and radiation just for the chance of having her in my life just a little bit longer then to spend it on material shit that can be replaced, because at the end of the day, I will never be able to fully replace a canine best friend like Ella.
