I am reaching out to share a personal challenge and request your support. We have recently been confronted with an urgent medical condition with our six-year-old fur baby, Zeus, that requires laboratory tests, treatment, and a hospital stay beyond what my current financial capabilities can handle.

Two weeks ago, Zeus suddenly became very ill. We took Zeus to Urgent Pet Care (it was the weekend), and he was diagnosed with an Upper Respiratory Infection. He was prescribed an antibiotic and should have recovered within a few days. However, this isn't the case.

In the past four days, Zeus hasn't eaten, so we have to force-feed him food only to have him throw it back up. We also have to give him water with a syringe, which he throws up soon after we give it to him. He is lethargic and will not come out of my closet unless we pick him up to take him to his litterbox. He has difficulty breathing and now breathes out of his mouth because he has mucus in his nose. 

We took Zeus back to Urgent Pet Care yesterday, and the vet says they'll need blood work, a chemistry profile, and X-rays to find out why he's so sick. The vet also states Zeus will need to be hospitalized due to dehydration and lack of food. 

It breaks our hearts to watch him suffer so unexpectedly, so I thank you for taking the time to read this.
