  • A little set back due to allergies.

Had to take Eddie in to see the vet today. He has been itching his eyes after cleaning his front paws. It caused an bacterial infection on and around his eye lids. He has to wear a cone to help with the rubbing and making them worse. However, he's spicy when we're working on applying eye meds. Please say a prayer for us and our little Eddie. Once his eyes are taken care of we will have to explore if he is having environmental allergies or food allergies. We are leaning more towards environmental. Rather it is outside or inside allergies we will find out. We thank you for your support and help with making Eddie's life easier.

About this fundraiser

This is our little guy that was dumped some time ago in the forest left as meat for the wild life. He has gone through the stray hold but was never claimed. The first 2 days of having him he was calm and sweet. Once he started getting comfortable in his new home and yard. He started showing food aggression, that lead to anytime agression. He's very unpredictable and will go from sweet cuddle bug to land shark within seconds. I have been in the Veterinary field for over 15 years and am a CVA. My husband and myself have been working on socializing, and training him ourselves. However, Since having him we have had him neutered, updated on vaccines, full blood panel, did xrays to check hips, legs, lungs, heart and esophagus. He has to be sedated for all Veterinary visits due to the severity of his aggression and the cost adds up. Being a staff member in the vet field does help some with cost, but can add up with having a pet that has to be sedated for all visits. If you would like to make donations you may contact Island Pet Veterinary Hospital at 252-702-8299 to help with medical expenses just say you would like to donate to Amanda's account or you can donate through the link below to go towards training. He has a great home and family that love him and are working with him on his aggression. He is NOT being rehomed. Keep scrolling if you have something negative to say. But if you would like to help thank you anything helps. If you would like to help but can't financially don't worry because you can make a difference by just sharing this post.
