I am a Veteran USCG , and in a precarious dilemma.  I have fallen in Love with an Amazing colony of Ferrell Cats. When I first arrived at the Mana house (A transitional temporary housing facility for Homeless Veterans). I noticed there were about 12 emaciated Ferrell Cats and Kittens. Their hair was matted and nappy with hair balls clinging to their coats. I immediately became curious and decided to help in anyway I could to make their very difficult lives a little easier.  They we're receiving inconsistent and unhealthy human leftovers,  but they were skin and bones, and trying to survive the sweltering Phoenix heat at 117 degrees.  They could hardly move because they were literally dying due to severe dehydration and starvation.  Something had to be done by someone to Save their lives. Although Cats may have 9 lives,  they had very clearly used 8 of them…trying to do anything in an attempt to cool themselves off. You would have had to have seen them before…it was very heartbreaking to watch God's creatures suffer. So began my crusade to Save these Homeless Cats and Kittens.  I purchased everything I could find in an all out effort to ease their suffering. I determined that they would benefit from a mixture of Purina dry food, mixed with Friskies wet food in cans. I bought formula for the Kittens to help Mom…because she was being taxed severely in trying to breast feed her little ones when she was straining to feed herself.  Yes, I called various organizations to get the colony Spayed and Nutered …but to no avail.  With all those tearfully sad commercials by ASPCA, you would think they would come to the rescue  ???

RIGHT…WRONG…they said I have to provide my own traps, and trap them, plus bring them in, and there would be a charge per 🐈 😻 cat for Veterinary costs. Here I am in Homeless transitional housing paying for very costly Cat food (Wet and Dry) with catnip and bowls for water, and food…and I am a Veteran just trying to survive on $1,300 per month from Social security…and big corporations like ASPCA or the Humane Society are behaving very inhumane.   I am reaching out for help in taking care of my precious babies..I don't mind feeding them first thing every morning,  and last thing before I go to bed.  I'm sincerely doing everything I can, and I pray that God will touch your Hearts 💕 to reveal the truth 🙏.  This is indeed a very just cause for all the right reasons.

PS: I can provide receipts showing the expenses over the past 7 months. Feeding a large Colony of over 15 Cats and Kittens proved far more costly than what I anticipated.  I burn through much more of my Social security $1,360 than I should, because I need to be saving for a vehicle and my eventual apartment. I currently live by the good Grace's of “Mana house ” provided to assist Homeless Veterans. I know I am not being logical…and I'm certain to be Judged, but I can't resist these Precious creatures that God put in my heart to help ♥️.  Iironically they help me much more, because they Love me without conditions, and they depend on me.
