About this fundraiser

In 2023, Tiffany started experiencing non epileptic seizures, passing out, bouts of pain and left side paralysis. After multiple testing, scans, therapy. No one had a clue what was causing this to happen. Tiffany suffers from endometriosis and was finally diagnosed in 2018. After an ectopic pregnancy in 2018 just two years after her second son was born, she was told children would be difficult for her to carry again. Everything relatively remained dormant until 2020. After a recent divorce, Tiffany found herself having more stomach issues, and weakness but blamed it on stress. In August in 2020, Tiffany remarried and gained three amazing bonus kids. She also found to their surprise that she was pregnant with a honeymoon baby. The pregnancy was a great struggle but after 9 months another healthy baby boy was born. This pregnancy put her body through the test. Unfortunately, due to her very weak pelvic floor she had to have an emergency hysterectomy with another endometriosis surgery at the age of 32. Though only partial, she began having headaches and developed more severe pain and symptoms. In 2023, her body had, had enough. She underwent a hernia repair, ovary removal, another endometriosis surgery, to which she was also diagnosed with IC bladder, pelvic congestion syndrome, and weakend pelvic floor. She was also admitted into the NNICU after stroke like symptoms in June and July. At this time diagnosed with complex migraines with stroke like symptoms. Multiple doctors, no treatments, no idea what was causing all the symptoms. Months and months of physical and occupational therapy plus cognitive therapy to help mentally deal with the pain, learning to walk and abrupt changes in life. After finally getting in with Vanderbilt Tiffany was diagnosed with FND, ruptured disc in neck and degenerative disc disease. Also found a Gynecologist who was a specialist in the bladder and pelvic floor and in 2024 she underwent replacement of her C5-C6 and total pelvic floor reconstruction. Tiffanys body was still deteriorating and after her pelvic surgery she was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder. This lead to genetic testing which confirmed Elhers Danlos Spondynosplastic ( spEDs), Ulrich Congenital musclar dystrophy type 2 and bethelem myopathy type 2. Now awaiting specialist appointments, Tiffany’s endometriosis and pelvic dysfunction has been confirmed and attempting treatments in ATL. After a few months, Doctors started noticing she was having trouble with her left side again and her breast along with her thoracic. It is believed that the endometriosis has traveled to her chest and could be in her brain  and various other places. During this medical journey Tiffany has had to stop working because she can not function as she use to. Financial burden has caused the selling of their home and possessions. Her husband is trying to work multiple hours and jobs to keep them stable and still take care of her, the daily chores and the kids. Unfortunately, after her neck surgery, her children were sent to stay with family while she recovered and although they are now able to visit a lot more, she has lost the ability to care for others and most days herself. She has filed for disability in 2023 but has since been denied twice. Her lawyers have her a hearing and we await that date. Unfortunately, it will be until 2026 if she is approved to start receiving those funds. Right now, Tiffany has a great opportunity to meet with some of the best renowned Endometriosis specialists in ATL to discuss further options. Insurance has proven useless again in the payment of these services and we seek help. The first visit to meet the drs and go over treatment plan is $500, plus travel expenses. To schedule the surgery is $1000, plus hotel fee to stay before since we are from TN. Then co pays and medication expenses that are $100 plus $300. This is just to get her the appointment. We pray that the house sells to help cover surgeries and upcoming treatments. If you are able to help we greatly appreciate it. $5 adds up very quickly. All proceeds go to Tiffany and her family to assist with her journey. The amount offered is to get her set up for the endometriosis surgery. Anything after that will go towards medical expenses and upcoming treatments. Thank you so much.
