Hi everyone, I'm glad you've gotten to this part of the process. 

My dad Chavit has been fighting the system to confirm a diagnosis for the past 3 years. And with constant pressure on Hawaii's Medical System he then had the opportunity to find greater help beyond Hawaii. He has finally gotten answers and was diagnosed with a rare disease called MDS/MPN overlap. It simple terms it is a under-diagnosed rare group of bone marrow failure disorders, where the body no longer makes enough healthy, normal blood cells in the bone marrow. The disease is also known as a form of blood cancer. It's been tough on my family physically and emotionally. The bills piling up and constant traveling to get the best care he needs is creating a great amount of strain on my family.
