My name is Samantha, I'm 26 years old and I currently live in Spanish fork with my family of four.

My fiance, my son, my daughter and I have created a life and a home, and have and hope to create so many more memories as a family.

My fiance and I have been together for almost six years now and we've been through so much together. He came into my life and not only mine, but my son's life as well. And since the very beginning, there has been no question about it, Carson has been his dad. And he is the absolute best father for him that any of us could ask for, as well as our daughter.

Recently there have been some events leading up to this GoFundMe. I've debated posting this for awhile now.

My separation from allans biological father didn't come lightly. I was only 19 years old at the time and the separation came when I was only 6 months along in my pregnancy. I was also, very very sick.

The night we separated something terrible happened to me and I didn't want to come forward or even tell my family about what had happened- For fear of backlash, fear of dismissal. Why would anyone believe me when we were already having a child together. Unfortunately I was so sick, I couldn't protect myself. Since then we've gone about life without any problems or bumps in the road. But I still live in fear most days, that his build father will indeed come along and change things that don't need to be, or shouldn't be changed. He hasn't even reached out one single time regarding Allan since our separation. But I can't risk exactly that happening from this point on.

This GoFundMe will give me a chance to fight for my son, and our family that we have.

The money received will go to legal fees. I've found an attorney that will help me with my case and will hopefully jumpstart our journey into legal adoption to Carson for my son.

As our children grow we want to provide them with the best we can, and protect their well being the very best we can and all your support will help us do just that.
