My mom passed away on January 31 and unfortunately I can't afford to pay the funeral expenses by myself.
After my dad died, Mom didn't handle things well and made some poor decisions. One of those decisions was to cancel her life insurance to cut expenses because her finances were hurting without my dad. I always meant to pay for life insurance for Mom but kept thinking I had plenty of time to take care of it. Unfortunately, I ran out of time.
I kept the arrangements simple and followed Mom's wishes. Mom wanted to be cremated so that is what I arranged with the funeral home. I would greatly appreciate any help to honor my mother's last wish.
