About this fundraiser

My name is Elly, and I am living with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). This condition causes me to experience unpredictable episodes of dizziness, lightheadedness, and sometimes even passing out. It makes daily activities challenging, and I often struggle to stand or move around safely. Even things I love, like horseback riding, have become difficult because my heart rate spikes so much, and I never know when an episode might hit.

After a lot of research and talking with my doctors, I’ve learned that a medical alert service dog could make a huge difference in my life. A service dog would be trained to recognize the signs of my POTS episodes, help me stay safe, and support me with everyday tasks. The funds raised will go directly toward the cost of the dog and the specialized training needed to ensure the dog can help me manage my symptoms and regain some independence.

I am reaching out for help because I can’t do this alone. Your support would mean the world to me, giving me the chance to live more safely and confidently. If you are able to donate or share my story, I would be deeply grateful. Thank you for helping me take this important step toward a better quality of life.
