I never imagined I would be in a position to ask for help, but life has humbled me in ways I never expected.
I am a local school teacher and caregiver who has worked hard my entire life. Years ago, I raised children while enduring an abusive marriage. I found the strength to leave, and later met a man who stepped in and helped raise my children as his own. Together, we built a family and did the best we could with what we had.
Today, my children are grown, but financial struggles have followed us. My husband is now on disability, and I work in education, paid only part of the year. Despite working full-time and living modestly, we struggle to keep up with basic bills.
I have never owned a new car, never had savings to fall back on, and recently had to move in with an elderly parent to make ends meet. It’s been humbling and emotionally heavy, especially when I’ve spent so much of my life caring for others.
I’m not asking for luxury — just help catching up and breathing again. Any support would go directly toward essential bills and basic living expenses.
If you’re unable to donate, kind words, prayers, or simply sharing encouragement means more than you know. Thank you for reading and for having compassion for someone who is trying to keep going.
