In January of this year, my father’s house was sadly destroyed by a fire. Around the same period, my grandmother was sent back home to Liberia. Since then, our family has faced one hardship after another. Sadly, on June 18, 2026, my grandmother passed away in Liberia. Losing her has been heartbreaking, especially with everything else our family has already been dealing with. We have been trying our best to make arrangements for her burial, Because of the financial difficulties, we have not been able to bury her as soon as we wanted. Her body has had to remain at the funeral home while we work to raise the money needed to bring everything to completion. We are currently planning for her burial on November 2026. This has been a very painful and overwhelming experience for our family. We are asking for help from anyone who is willing to support us during this difficult time. Even a small contribution would mean so much to us and would help us give my grandmother the respectful farewell she deserves.
