Together my wife and I are writing this, even as hard as it is, but if you're reading this , it's because we consider you friends more like family or because you are family and we're reaching out not because we want to, but because it has become do or die essentially for us across the board. 

As most of you know since the later part of last year my wife has been pretty sick and going through extensive testing and is dealing with multiple diagnosis. Thankfully, as originally suspected she does NOT have cancer, but she is faced with several other issues and in need of multiple surgeries in the coming days/weeks/months once her body is able to handle them. 

What we know right now is she is not getting adequate blood flow to her heart which we learned at her cardiology appointment this morning, there are several areas that need surgery in her head and neck, some needing biopsies due to being past what doctors call "precancerous sizes", she recently suffered a pulmonary embolism and has tested positive for Factor 5 & 8 and is severely anemic as well as has a possible colovesical fistula (testing end of the week). We were hoping to see some changes as her body healed from the pulmonary embolism and while we have seen some changes in her kidney functions trending into better numbers, most everything else remains the same. 

What is the point of this message, you may ask?

 My wife and I are not ones to ask for help, but right now due to my wife being in the hospital, at Drs appts or in testing facilities almost daily she lost her full time job, with an opportunity to reinstate once she is better and can handle her work load and work her expected hours of 40+ hrs per week and her part time work she is not supposed to be doing isn't cutting what we need to sustain our monthly living expenses and we're behind on some things after having to fork out $3400+ in the last month just for our deductible so my wife can be taken care of and for numerous medications that our insurance wouldn't cover. 

We are asking for help wherever anyone can to help with the financial stresses we're currently facing from rent and bills unpaid, utilities being shut off, storage payment due that has everything that means something to us in it, groceries and just day to day living. I make very little an hour, so I'm sure you're aware even with the overtime it doesn't go far, but I'm working as many hours as I can and even when my wife is supposed to be on bed rest, low stress and no bending or lifting, she is working still the best she can. 

We're not asking for a hand out, we're asking for help to get caught up and once things settle down here I'm willing to cut trees, help wherever anyone needs it building, cleaning,mowing, whatever it is that is needed and my wife is willing to as well. We're just in a bad place and trying to save our home so we're not homeless is our priority and save our marriage that honestly we even considered divorcing to minimize the stressors of both of us and because my wife feels like a burden and it has been very hard if I'm being honest. But we love each other and we are trying the best we can to do all we can to save everything we've worked hard for, including our marriage.
