Kate was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer in July 2025 at the age of 37. She will have a mastectomy on Sept. 5 followed by an ongoing treatment plan.

In addition to Kate’s conventional cancer treatment and recovery from surgery, we are also pursuing integrative and alternative therapies to help strengthen her immune system, support her healing, and give her the best possible chance at full recovery. These complementary treatments are not covered by insurance, and unfortunately, we are also facing a high deductible on our current medical plan.
